April Fool! with Bryan Ng Yih Miin and Food

Part of the secret of a success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.
-Mark Twain-

Hello there again! Hello! Hello, from Bryan Ng Yih Miin and Adele J Man, time flies when you are having fun,no? It’s April 2012 now, so fast right? Ohhh, and April fool! =) How’s your April Fool? Anyone made any silly jokes to anyone of you out there? I’m sure somewhere, somehow surely there’s someone who got fooled on April Fool. Well, gladly for Bryan Ng Yih Miin and Adele, no one did any prank on the both of them. Yippie. But sometimes its fun to have someone make a prank on us,no? =) But of course, don’t be too extreme then. Well, here’s one thing you can do to anyone out there:

Spare Change

This April Fool’s practical joke is old but it still works. Superglue some coins to the sidewalk or any spot that has A LOT OF PEOPLE walking around. Make sure it’s an appropriate place, then watch people break fingernails to get coins.

Got this from the internet. There are lots of great ideas you can give, I’m certain of it. But hey, April Fool has passed, so LET IT GO. No more pranks please, other than on birthdays or special occasions.

Well, do you guys know that Malacca (Melaka) will have its Declaration of Melaka as Historical City on the 15th April 2012? Hence, you know what that means, don’t you? It’s a holiday!!! But only for Melaka, awwwww… L Sadness, but nevermind. Bryan Ng Yih Miin will be happy having holiday on Monday then. All of you Malaccans, don’t you feel proud and glad that you are staying or stayed or born in Malacca? It’s a historical city! How good is that. Thanks to Bryan Ng Yih Miin, Adele and friends got to learn how to love Malacca more, especially at night on weekends. Not saying weekdays will be boring, but it’ll be fun too hanging out in Melaka on weekdays. Oh boy, how exciting it is to go to Melaka again to enjoy the ‘peacefulness’ and calmness of Melaka. For those of you who haven’t been to Melaka, do go and perhaps you could make a day trip there and experience the food there? J

Okay, so, enough about Melaka, now, back to food !

FOOD! Oh how could we miss such an awesome thing on earth! Mmm nyumnyum! This time round, Bryan Ng Yih Miin will bring you to a cheap yet fulfilling place to eat! Yummy!

Bryan Ng Yih Miin went to Wang Chiew seafood Restaurant last week and found out the food there is quite tasty, and also it's quite hard to find cheap yet delicious food nowadays, but hey look, Bryan Ng Yih Miin found one nearby! Only in SS2! :) While looking thru the food below, let’s wonder which of them is Bryan Ng Yih Miin’s favourite food J

Wang Chiew Seafood Restaurant
Located at ss2/103 in Petaling Jaya

Claypot Pork Rib for RM10

Stir-Fry Kang Kong for only RM6

Indonesian Seafood Curry Tofu for only RM8

Oh nyumnyum.. All looks delicious ain't em? :) Well, honestly, the claypot pork rib is quite good, although you can find the same taste elsewhere. It's quite tasty and okay, appetizing with its sauce and some of the pork doesn't have the ribs there, only the meaty part, so perhaps few of you would prefer that over 'ribby' pork? :P Anyways, the stir-fry kang kong which is only RM 6(cheap right?) is not so tasty but edible though. It is a little dry, especially if you eat with only plain rice, it does not blend in well as both of them will be too dry to eat. So it's best to add some soup or curry on your rice before eating.
Last but not least, Indonesian Curry Seafood Tofu for RM8, which is actually reasonable as it has seafood (squid) and tofu and the curry actually tastes awesome. It does not have that very 'curry-leaf flavour' (which Adele would describe). It's just plain awesome (don't drool). And yes, bingo, Bryan Ng Yih Miin adores and favours this Indonesian Curry Seafood Tofu very much and would like to come back and taste it again! Among the food above, the best would go to this Indonesian Curry Seafood Tofu. Well, Bryan Ng Yih Miin have not tried the others, so Bryan Ng Yih Miin wouldn't quite know how other food taste like, right? :) He plans to go again soon, hopefully.

Also available:
-Marmite pork
-Claypot ginger frog
